Hello! My name is Huaixuan, and I'm a painter and illustrator specializing in Character Design, Fantasy Game Illustration, and Book-Cover Illustration.

Experience & Expertise

I studied illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York and pursued graduate studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Over the years, I've served as the lead illustrator for several major projects, including "An Outcast in Another World," where I collaborated with the author to bring fantasy characters to life. At Somndus Studio, I was the main designer for the protagonist and NPC, and illustrate many loading page pictures. I also completed numerous character design and illustration projects for both personal and commercial commissions as a freelance illustrator with consistently high reviews.

Inspiration

My inspirations both come from dreams and meditative practices. I've communicated with my spiritual guide, Easter, since childhood. He helps me to shape my life's goal, to have the curiosity and courage to explore the unknown, and to share my unique worldview through art. My dreams are especially vivid. The imagery in my dreams often carries a profound sense of calm, but also has a touch of the subtle chaos hiding in it that defies conventional expectations. Whenever I wake up, these imagery and stories etched in my mind. I cherish this gift and feel driven to share these surreal experiences through my illustrations.
